Introductory lesson evaluation
I'd love to help you get started with my introductory lesson evaluation.
During this 45 minute session, we'll get to know each other and I'll assess your current abilities and technique, as well as your goals and expectations for learning guitar.
My aim is to meet you where you are at and give you a clear picture of how we can move forward towards nurturing your passion as both a guitarist and musician.
We will waste no time in diving into our learning! I want all students to walk out of their first lesson with a new sense of how to play the instrument technically and creatively.
By the end of your first lesson, you’ll have:
a personalised road map,
practical exercises/songs to work on,
and at least one new concept or technique you can use immediately.
A clear vision of where things are heading for you on the guitar!
Guitar lessons - what to expect
It’s true that every student is unique and has their own learning style, goals, and skill level. That's why I offer lessons that are personalised to each student's abilities and needs.
I want to work with you as best as possible to provide clear inspiration and direction for your development.
My lessons are suitable for all ages and skill levels.
During our lessons, we will work on a variety of topics such as scales, chords, songs, and fret board techniques with a focus on creativity and improvisation.
I provide a range of written and visual materials to aid learning, and I offer helpful online visual and written resources to supplement the lessons. My aim is to create a fun and supportive learning environment where students can feel confident in their abilities and make progress towards their goals.
Every week I teach students across a range of ages and experience.
There are plenty of beginners but also advanced players looking to dive into the most complex music theory.
