About Me

Welcome to my page! My name is Pallé Mazzulla and I am a musician based in Perth, Western Australia. I have been pursuing my life passion playing guitar, and teaching both on the stage and in the studio since my teenage years.

I started out guitar at the age of 9 learning from a local legend, John Meyer (Rose Tattoo), and had a peculiar reputation for myself at school with some raucous 5 minute guitar solos in my house band (that were later refined through the Hale school jazz program). The balance of learning and playing both inside and outside of school programs helped me gain valuable experience performing amongst my peers whilst also being able to freely explore my musical preferences in private lessons.

I began teaching guitar on the side whilst I studied a Law degree at the University of Western Australia. I had decided to pursue this over an education at WAAPA; however I was not your usual law student. The rock’n’roll musical spirit was very strong. You could usually find me rocking double denim and sporting an 80s mullet, spending my weekends playing gigs around Perth. After completing my degree I decided to dive head first into the band scene and follow my dreams.

After playing with various cover bands around Perth in my youth, I finally found my true calling - starting my own rock band, Death By Denim. Over a few years we hit the festival circuit and started touring the country, and I even got to hear my own music played on national airwaves.

Teaching has since become a primary focus of mine in my musical journey. My years of performing and songwriting have given me a unique approach to teaching guitar that's all about creativity and self-expression. I'm passionate about helping my students unlock their own musical potential, and I love working with them to craft their own melodies and chord progressions in the style of their favourite artists.
